Skate for Sarah

The "Skate for Sarah" Ice Hockey Tournament is a charitable hockey tournament and event in memory of Sarah Watkin. Sarah passed away on November 2nd, 2014, after bravely battling a rare and extremely aggressive form of blood cancer. She was seven years old.
 
Many people in the community were connected in some way to Sarah, and have followed her incredible story over the past few years. The one day ice hockey tournament honors Sarah, by raising funds for children dealing with pediatric disability and illness, and for youth scholarships for sports and recreational programs. It will also bring plenty of awareness for Sarah's Drive for Hope, which encourages the need for blood and bone marrow donors.
 
The tournament features divisions for youth and adults, and is for all levels of play. There are no restrictions for any players that play in other house leagues or Rep teams.
 
The day will also include entertainment, family activities, tremendous team and individual prizes and a lot of great hockey action. For more information, please contact us at admin@jccchaisports.com.
